Former Jets' Kris Jenkins and Giants' Terrell Thomas To Host Youth Football Camp.
Wayne, NJ., April 1, 2011 - Football players will have the opportunity this summer to learn individual and team football techniques from New York Jets and New York Giants players during the Kris Jenkins and Terrell Thomas Football Camp July 6-9. The camp, which offers overnight and day camp options, will be held at the William Paterson University, in Wayne, NJ and will feature former New York Jets' starting defensive tackle Kris Jenkins and New York Giants' starting cornerback Terrell Thomas.
The camp is designed for players ages 7 to 18 and will feature daily instruction, lectures and demonstrations by Jenkins, Thomas, and/or members of the New York Jets and New York Giants. The college and high school coaches on staff will ensure individual and team instruction on both offense and defense. Football newcomers and seasoned players alike will also experience teamwork, self-discipline, selecting the correct role models and how to attain their sports and life potential. Even though this is not an "autograph camp," members of the Jets and Giants will be available for autographs.
"The goal of the camp and instructors is to maximize the potential of each young player while giving them an experience they will never forget," says Jenkins.
"This is a great way for a young player to learn about football. The camp provides a very positive atmosphere and the camper learns football from great coaches and NFL players," says Thomas.
Jenkins is a four-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro selection.

In his second year as a starter for the Giants, Thomas led the team with 101 tackles, also adding five interceptions and four forced fumbles.
